Now .. My Friends..It gives me great pleasure in sharing this with you.

My Friend Unreal (UK) teamed up with two other talented producers - Nick Crescendo (US) and Ghost (Sweden) around christmas 07 and started a project by the name of Hovito's way . A Remix of Jay-Z's 'American Gangster' Album. 

A very brave attempt which proved to be successful. How? because these three talented peeps took risks to make,not just an album, but a new approach toward making music. This is the future.

The game has changed. HipHop is getting better and better and these guys have really stepped it up with their skills and it really shows.

My personal favorite includes UNREAL'S work :

1) Intro - you'll notice a familiar sound in there ;) try to figure that out.. it very nicely done

2) Party Life - He really brought the heat with this one.. this beat is just unique. 

3) Roc Boys - very nice 80s feel to it you know.. I somehow picture myself playing GTA with this on in my radio ;) lol . This should definately be included in the game.HA!

4) Hello Brooklyn - Again.. Unreal works his magic.

5) American Gangster - This beat is special... this was one beat that was stuck in my head for a long time. It has its own special feel.

As producers we all get like $2 mill ideas every now n then that vanish real quick lol... It has power , emotion , its own character basically, and when the words flow along with the music , its just awesome. This man has worked hard on these tracks and has come out with heat . Props to you homie

NICK CRESCENDO (US) - I had no idea who he was until a month ago , when I checked out his MySpace page. TALENTED! How? listen to his work! 

My favorites :

1) Sweet - I totally dig the guitar sample used there. Very nicely done. This takes a permanent spot in my I tunes library :) 

2) I Know - My favorite track from American Gangster as well as Hovito's Way. 

Features Calistylz ( Crownlife Ent. / Danjahandz Musik ) who , just so you all know , has released his mixtape CALISTYLULATED - The Animation ( has tracks produced by Unreal! ) A beast !  

3) Success - This track will charge you up 

GHOST (Sweden) 

Before I begin on this guy , Let me just mention that I got love for all my fellow producers who are into percussion! lol.. As a producer I LIKE MESSING WITH PERCS!!! Hence I like his style!

GHOST might just be the best in Sweden lol.. for real.. Listen to Light Ya Ass on Fire Remix.. wooo! heat!!

When it comes to his work in Hovito's , hes done a great job

My favorites : 

1) Blue Magic - Again.. one of my all time favs from the original.. this one deserves a thumbs up . Production is good.

2) Pray - Beautiful opening ! and you'll notice a familiar piano sample which has been blended beautifully Hook - I like the way it flows 

OVERALL - These three dudes reached their goal of providing great music. I really think its great cuz nobody else had thought of this idea! Unique. 

The goal here was to NOT give people what they want. The Goal here was to provide new era styles to the crowd. Set Standards. The present crowd cannot be underestimated.

Ok , Im back!

Here to share more about my views on music.. talking to you like its one on one ..

I have great respect for talented musicians out there... and I know that working on music is not an easy task..nor too difficult either.. It all comes straight from the heart..

Producers/Artists these days come out with some of the most insane tunes , providing so many different styles to the listener... Remember that , we all use words.. to describe our music..it may not be accurate , but you know how to describe it in your own way..

Bouncy , Upbeat , Wild , Futuristic , Energetic , Peaceful , Sorrowful and so on....Emotions just fill you up!

You immidiately make a connection with that particular song and make it special for yourself ! Its amazing how it all happens ... MUSIC IS THAT SPECIAL LANGUAGE!

The Artists come out with those masterpieces by pouring their emotions into the music.. and the end result leaves you speechless.. YEAH! it does.. you cannot describe the feeling you get when you listen to the first few seconds of that special track..

That song is in your system . Chemical reactions taking place in your brain.. your body is posessed...your head cant stop moving according to that rhythm and its a drug. You dont wanna let that feeling go so easily so you play it again...........WOW! what a feeling!

You see what im talking about?.. You've made a CONNECTION! Its powerful..

We all are humans..mortal. Our souls..immortal. And when your soul is IMMERSED in the music and you make the music..the end result is something thats out of this world.

When people say " Your song makes me happy everytime I hear it . It puts me in a whole new dimension . It makes me forget my pain . It makes me strong . This is what gets me going " , you know you've done ur job well.. you know you've started this relationship with people across the globe .

Thats why we all dedicate songs to one another , because we've made it special for ourselves and for others.. Its beautiful yo!

Remember the time when you dedicated a song or gave a mixtape to your crush at school?.. you didnt have the balls to let her know how you felt about her.. but the music managed to do so..lol.. yeah... all those are products straight from the heart.

( Online download sites have made this idea impossible ! I mean.. even your crush might have some of the latest tracks that even you didnt know about lol !!! )

You know you've made that special connection when your music is being played from almost every Mp3 player , Phone , PC , Boom Box ... across the globe...even the remote parts of it!

....and its never gonna die.. cuz everytime you play the track.. its gonna bring back memories.. its gonna bring back the EXACT emotions that you felt a long while back..

THATS THE GOAL IM TRYING TO REACH ! TO HAVE A SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH PEOPLE ACROSS THE GLOBE!

Im R.A.KEEE a.k.a RAKSHITH ASHOK . Im a 19 year old DJ/Producer/Graphic/Web Designer from Bangalore , India . Im a part of STRATOSPACE. A group that I , DJ DEEP and DJ PUNKSHAL formed last year . We produce and Remix HipHop tracks .

I came up with the name STRATOSPACE because I believe we can make music that is STRAIGHT TO SPACE .


WHY MUSIC IS IMPORTANT TO ME ..

I make music for the love of it. Its like a language that has so many emotions that you can't even describe in words.. Its a powerful tool that i've in my posession and I plan to make good use of it.. Im a self-taught artist.

Making music gives you an amazing feeling.. its great fun when you combine different ideas and let them form into something beautiful / energetic / expressive.. and the best part is you're making a wonderful connection with many people... This is the only thing that can cross boundaries.. reach billions of ears across the globe and thats SPECIAL.

MY GREATEST INFLUENCES :

TIMBALAND , PHARRELL , P.DIDDY , JAY-Z . They have achieved A LOT as ARTISTS AND BUSINESSMEN.

I've been producing music since 5 months now and remixing since 3 years.. and im going strong . Its a special part of my life now.. and Im working on it day and night to make sure I come out with something hot !
